group lessons
Group consists of 4 students and shares 2 kites. You can ask why? The answer is simple, we can give you four kites but you will not appreciate this. Instructor will be running from one student to another launching kites and you will constantly drop them on the water, especially in the early stages of the course. So, time of the lesson will be wasted. When you work in pairs you will assist and help each other. You also will have a chance to look at your mistakes done by your partner. This will help you to fine tune your skills and mover forward.
Usual lesson takes around 2-3 hours, not more. Why so? We think that after 2 hours in the water your brain and body become overloaded by new information and new moves, so you start doing mistakes and get frustrated when things are not happening as you wish.
So, the course should take around 4-5 days depending on the wind conditions, of course. This exact time is necessary to build right set of skills from scratch to the first ride.
By underlining all above mentioned we can say the following:
- the price per person per hour in 10 hours course - 35 euros (definitely a plus)
- time spent with kite in a group - around 5 hours in total (more a minus to us)
- possibility to see your mistakes on somebody else - looks like a plus
- time to a first ride - a bit longer in comparison with private lesson - looks like a minus
- instructor’s time spent on you - 25% (looks like minus)
Semiprivate lesson - 40 euros per person per hour.
Group consists of 2 students and shares 2 kites. In other words each student has its own kite based on wind strength, weight and skills. You will not get your own kite until the instructor will be absolutely sure that you understand all theory and have necessary skills to continue on your own without being a danger for yourself and people around you*.
The length of the lesson should be no longer than 2 hours per session. Why so? We think that after 2 hours in the water your brain and body become overloaded by new information and new moves, so you start doing mistakes and get frustrated when things are not happening as you wish.
How long will it take from scratch to a first ride? Based on our experience in average from 8 to 12 hours.
By underlining all above mentioned we can say the following:
- price per person per hour - 45 euros (here we stay neutral)
- time spent with kite - almost 100%. Why almost? Than read here*. (definitely a plus)
- possibility to see your mistakes on somebody else - no, you would not. You will always look at the kite, we know. (looks like a minus)
- time to a first ride - we think it should take a bit shorter time than in the group of 4 people because you do not need to share your kite with somebody (looks like a plus).
- instructor’s time spent on you - 50% (big plus in comparison with group of 4 students)
